This site celebrates the unique approach to retail design and architecture that sets Aesop apart from others. And represents an evolution of the digital brand, and movement forward towards the future.

Key design elements of store design are reflected in the structure of the UX – encouraging the visitor to explore at leisure, selected materials, features, designers & architects who have collaborated with Aesop.

Best practice, mobile first design thinking was applied to create this responsive, level A accessible website.

The concept was realised though iterative wireframe and prototypes to visualise data & interaction before detailed interface design and development. The final experience acts to immerse the visitor, deepen engagement with the brand across digital spaces and devices. Portable content is also available to share, supporting content marketing considerations.

Taxonomy of Design features interviews with collaborators from selected stores including; Oslo, Melbourne, Kyoto, ParisNew York and São Paulo. Each film is carefully crafted to reveal design stories pertinent to each build, with considerations of cultural histories and inspirations from the local surrounds.

It was a great pleasure to work with internally colleagues and external partners on this project.
